STATEMENT/BIO/CV
Maddie West is a Spartanburg, South Carolina based Artist. She is currently working to complete her BA in Studio Art at Converse College. West has exhibited many works in the southeastern United States including shows at the Chapman Cultural Center in South Carolina, Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia, and The Tryon Fine Arts Center in North Carolina. Her work has been published in the Spartanburg Herald Journal. West’s work consists primarily of abstracted portraits and animals. She specializes in oil painting and ceramics and hopes to further her artistic range and ability.
